Bakk Discusses 2012 Session

Cravaack Mobile Offices

U.S. Representative Chip Cravaack announced the locations of mobile offices his staff will conduct throughout the Eighth Congressional District on Thursday, May 17 through Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

"These mobile offices will provide residents throughout the Eighth District an opportunity to meet with members of my staff and discuss matters that are important to them," said Cravaack. "It is my privilege to have provided my constituents access to over 230 mobile offices since this past June."

Members of the Representative's staff will be available to meet with constituents at the following locations on Thursday, May 17 through Wednesday, May 23, 2012 during the times indicated:

Senators Debate Trapping

Senators debated the use of traps during their considertion of HF 2171, the Omnibus Game and Fish bill, Saturday, April 28. The debate centers around the the location of traps, which have been known to erroneously kill pets, and the future use of traps. The debate also focuses on wolf managment and the beginning of a wolf hunting season.

Senate Supports Wolf Hunting Season

The Minnesota Senate defeated a motion to delay the start of a wolf hunting season, which will be established in November by the Dept. of Natural Resources. The hunting season follows recent de-listing of the gray wolf from the endangered species list. The Senate debated the issue Monday, April 23.

Office Hours for Lt. Governor Prettner Solon in Duluth

Lt. Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon has announced that she will host office hours in Duluth on Thursday, April 26th and Thursday, May 3rd. Her office is located in the Duluth Technology Village, 11 E Superior St. Suite 210. The event is hosted by the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
