Annual STEM Camp at Mesabi Range Coming Up

Mesabi Range College will host its 6th annual STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Camp the week of June 10th-14th.

Students entering grades 7-10 in Fall 2013 can spend an exciting five days exploring the world of robotics, electronics, engineering, and the role of STEM as they engage in programming, building, and testing robots.

Each year, STEM Camp provides an opportunity for students to investigate STEM careers through interactive and fun activities in a college environment.

Attorney Named to Iron Range Rehab Board

Bryan Lindsay has been selected to join the Board of Director of the Iron Range Rehab Center, an organization that has been providing top quality rehabilitation services to the citizens of the Iron Range for nearly 60 years.

The Iron Range Rehabilitation Center was founded in a three stall garage outside of the Virginia Hospital in 1954. Today IRRC is now located in a newly expanded and renovated 21,000 square foot facility attached to the Virginia Regional Medical Center Campus in Virginia, MN.

IRRC provides a wide range of therapy services including but not limited to physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. IRRC’s mission is to work collectively and collaboratively with business and healthcare facilities to provide the highest quality rehab services in the area.
